Today we invited our parents to come and see all our wonderfull work we have been doing since the middle of last term. We have been learning about the needs of people and how different groups of people meet their needs.
We looked at Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and then worked in a group to design a civilization of our own, with buildings that help fulfil people's needs.
Thanks to all the parents who were able to make it down to school and give us valuable feedback about our learning.
I liked the learning celbration-keighley
ReplyDeleteI did too Keighley. I was impressed with how well the class were able to explain their models to the parents. From the evaluation forms it looks like all the parents enjoyed seeing and hearing about your learning too.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way the class did them:)

I thought you had all put a lot of thought into your civilisations, and linked it to Maslow's needs as well. Liza (Dakota's Mum)
ReplyDeleteThe Civilisations were fantastic! Brodie, Cooper & I enjoyed looking at them all. Kurtis, Jackson & Sachin were very good at explaining their civilisation to us. I wonder what movie would have been on at the cinema? Rachael (Jacksons Mum)
